I hope you are having a good day just as I am! This afternoon I would like to share my experience with another Tomato Soap, this one’s from Talitha Organics. I got this soap together with their Sunflower Soap. I was hesitant to try this soap because the last tomato soap I used gave me little bumps for the first two days but then they disappeared after a week. But I got to do this! Haha!

This 135g Tomato Blush is pink in color and smells good, it has a fruity scent. Ingredients can’t be found on the packaging so am I am not sure of what it was made of.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Gentle skin peeling with added Arbutin to prevent formation of Melanin. Recommended for the face to lighten acne marks and dark spots and gives the skin instant glow. With beads gently exfoliate the skin and added moisturizer to prevent dryness while exfoliating.

I have used this for more than two weeks and I don’t know what is it with tomato soaps that they give me bumps on my face. I do not know if I am allergic to some of its ingredients because I eat tomatoes and I feel fine after :p.  By the way, they are not pimples but little tiny bumps. Those little creatures appeared on my third wash (second day). They are not itchy nor red, they disappear naman after few days and don’t leave any marks but if I want t o get rid of them right away I pair this soap with Premium Kojic Soap and they work well together.

From the soap’s name – Tomato Blush, it’s true it gives my face rosy glow. My pores also feel tighter after wash. I I also used this Tomato Blush on my body and I like how I smell after, the microbeads also help in exfoliation though it is a bit drying on my skin (body) so I apply lotion after especially on my legs. It does not also lathers that much, hindi sya gaanong mabula and one more thing I noticed with this soap is that it does not melt easily however it breaks into little pieces as I use it so I gather (the small pieces) and mold them together like a snow ball :p so I can still use it. I prefer to use it on my body rather on my face because after using it for two weeks it somehow lightened acne marks on my back, yep I get bacne once in a while. But still, sometimes I use it on my face because I still want that rosy cheeks. :p
