I do not know how to start this post, haha, maybe because we, Filipinos, find it unusual to talk about our sensitive areas. :p But, as I discovered this product, I think I have the responsibility to share with you my latest care routine of my intimate area.

I grew up knowing that I have to use a separate wash for vagina, yes you read it right, vagina. :D  I, together with my Mom, used two of the most popular brands of fem wash in our Country.  Why?  Maybe because I grew up seeing only the two in the market, on the television and even on billboards. Thanks to social media I was now able to  discover new things.

I like using organics products but I also don’t mind using ones that has (chemical) as long as they are not harmful chemicals and so I do not have any problem with my current feminine wash. But when I started using Fresh Confidence I kinda forgot my previous feminine wash. This 60ml bottle is a product of Nature Essentials, which was known for their Pure Maruja Oil. The said company has started last June of 2014 yet they already got numerous awards, some of those are – “Best Natural Skin Care Provider” National Consumers Choice Award 2015, “Best Choice Trusted Direct Selling Company” Best Choice Awards 2015. Within a year, this brand somehow gained the trust of many, and so was mine. :p

INGREDIENTS:

*Rose Hydrosol

*Witch Hazel Hydrosol

*Cucumber Hydrosol

*Coco Betaine

*Aloe Vera Leaf Juice

*Rosemary Extract

*Organic Essential Oils

*Vit. C and E

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

*Apply a small amount on your wrist then leave for 5-10 minutes. If no irritation occurs you can continue to use the product safely.

I am no expert to be able to tell if its ingredients are the best so let me just share you my personal experience with Fresh Confidence. I am on my third week of using this fem wash, the first thing I noticed was it gives a fresh cooling sensation, I am using the other brand which gives the same feeling also but Fresh Confidence is made up mostly of natural ingredients.

The vagina produces its own natural discharges as part of it self-cleaning process. So it is not good to use harsh cleaners and soaps that may strip away its (vagina) protective barrier, leaving us to be vulnerable to infections.  If the feminine wash we are using is too strong, it may cause dryness. Choosing one (kind of fem wash) really depends on your condition and needs, but personally I would want to use a milder one on my sensitive area. And this (Fresh Confidence) gave what I just needed. Since I have been using this for half a month already, I did not experience any irritation and I like it because it has a mild and natural scent. Used this when I had my monthly period and still it made me feel fresh and clean down there for hours. Plus its packaging is travel-friendly, I can bring it wherever I go. I like its bottle better than the one I am using before because I (always) accidentally drop it in the bathroom and it breaks easily. :(

Though I have Fresh Confidence a bit pricey (P220) compared to the other brands, this one is more matipid gamitin, the consistency is like liquified gel, you would only need a very small amount (1-2 drops) and it foams up well giving me a squeaky clean feeling. It also rinses out easily and very helpful in maintaining hygiene during monthly periods. I know we usually take a bath twice or thrice everyday because it makes us feel clean and fresh. So when it comes to my sensitive area, I am quite conscious in keeping it clean also and I just want to use the most gentle and safest care for my intimate area. :)
