When I first saw Skin Empire’s package, all I can think of is YEEYYYYY!!! Another lip tints to try haha! Maybe you guys would say, oh no, it’s her 3rd lip tint post already for this month!! Relax guys, every product is different from the others.  So let me start this review so I won’t waste any of your time! :)

But first let’s start with the packaging. It comes in a small transparent plastic bottle with silver cap and a doe foot applicator.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

*A fruit/plant-derived Lip and Cheek Staininfused with (Strawberry, Melon, Cherry Extract) & Collagen to nourish lips and cheeks. It delivers a more natural radiant glow.

A 5ml bottle costs P150.00. The name of the shade and its description can be found on the bottle which is very handy, it will fit even inside my pocket.

Cherry Pink

*This is the lightest shade among the four that I have. At first, I thought it was just a gloss, but as it dries, it gives my lips and cheeks a natural flush. This one is perfect for girls in their teens or even the pabebe ones hehe! If you want to go out with a little color on you so you just won’t look pale, this will do the job. It also has a mlid cherry scent.

Strawberry

*I thought this one is just the same like my other lip tint, the usual shade, red. But I was wrong. It smells strawberry and gives a bright red shade that will surely brighten every skin tone.

Melon

*Ahhhh this one smells so yummy, this one reminds me of Nesfruta’s Melon na, Melon na, real na real na real! It also has bright shade of orange, perfect for summer! You can also apply another layer to make it from light to dark orange. I can compare this withMaybelline ColorSensational Vivids Collection in Electric Orange which I used in mySummer Makeup Tutorial.

Cappuccino

*This is the darkest shade within the four that I have, but I know they still have two other shades. I thought this is too dark for me, from looking at its bottle and name, thought it was like chocolate brown in color but when I applied it, it’s more of a dark orange and when added another layer, that’s when it becomes brown. I like using this when I have simple make up because this alone adds more drama on my look! :)

These tints can be used for lips and cheeks. Personally, I can use Cherry and Strawberry for my blush but not Cappuccino and Melon, I don’t think they will suit my skintone. All dries up fast. That’s what I like most in this product, and when it dries it gives matte finish yey! You know me, i love mattes! However if you’ll be using this as your blush make sure you have ninja blending skills, you have to blend this as fast s you can before it completely dries!

It stays on my lips for 3 hours without eating o drinking. Of course, it’ll fade after having my meal, but it fades evenly. While it stays longer on cheeks, 4-5 hours. All shades are buildable so you can achieve the lightest and darkest of each shade, depending on what you like. I suggest you apply lip blam before and after applying this, to prevent the drying effects of a lip tint. It can’t be removed easily, I tried wiping it off with tissue and I failed. You would need a makeup remover to remove it completely. That’s why I can’t swatch them all on my lips on one day haha! If you are looking for a lip/cheek stain that has good color payoff, budget-friendly and has no bitter taste, yes you read that right, I think one of them has a super slight bittertaste but goes right away when it dries!
