BELO SunExpert SPF 40 FACE | MICS REVIEWS

I thought that I should not post this anymore since rainy days are already here. But this week, napaka-init!! Grabe, parang summer pa din. I’m not complaining though. :p Now let me share you my weapon everytime I go out on a sunny day!
Honestly, this is my first sunblock (for face) evaaa. Please don’t judge me. ;p I know not applying sunblock is bad for my face and I’ve realized I should do something ;p But I’m not comfortable putting moisturizers, cream and sunblocks because they are sticky on the face especially under makeup. Dahil nga sobra akong pawisin, ang lagkit pag nagpapahid ako :( But this one’s different! This is love at first use!

ETUDE HOUSE EASY BROW PENCIL | MICS REVIEWS

Have you ever experienced buying something then eventually forgetting about it? Happens to me all the time! I know most of you can understand what I am saying. Bibili ng damit, tapos pag napa-ilalim na sa closet, ayun nakakalimutan na! Well, I’m sure this also happens to makeup junkies like me. :)

So I bought this eyebrow pencil a year ago but haven’t used it a lot. Maybe because I wasn’t paying attention on my eyebrows before as much as I am now. :p Then when I started my blog, I saw this brow pencil while organizing my makeup and I was like “why am i not using this?!?!?!?”

MARY KAY TIMEWISE MATT- WEAR LIQUID FOUNDATION | MICS REVIEW

Hi there loves! :) I used this foundation few times before I did this review so I can fully share my experience with this product.

What made me curious about this product is the name itself – Matte-Wear, for someone who has oily skin like mine, you would definitely want to try this when you see its name. :DThis is my first Mary Kay product – Mary Kay Timewise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation. It comes in a small shimmery tube – how ironic, it’s matte but then the tube is shimmery haha! :D It has 3 shades and I got the shade Beige 2.

NBA CAFE | MICSEATS REVIEW

My friends and I decided to go to SM Aura last Sunday for a change hehe, we also wanted to try NBA Cafe. March of this year, the first sports bar and restaurant opened here in Manila. We came around 12nn so I was expecting that we’ll have to wait long but surprisingly it only took us 5 minutes to be seated. When we walked in, I noticed how spacious the place was, tables were everywhere but still they were far apart from each other. As we went to our table I felt like I was in a museum, NBA memorabilia filled the place – trophies, basketballs with autographs and jerseys of teams.

We were already starving when we got on our table so we ordered right away. It took 15 minutes for our food to be served, we didn’t mind waiting though we’re hungry because we spent our time staring at the pictures of NBA players in the wall. Also, TV screens were everywhere! So waiting time wasn’t boring! We were seated beside the glass window, I bet the view would be more relaxing if we went there for dinner. Anyway let’s move on with the food!

Lobster Caesar – P550
For salad we had Lobster Caesar, it has Romain Lettuce, Lobster, Parmesan Cheese, Carrot and truffle vinaigrette. It was very tasty! I really like it, the dressing and the lobster oh so yummy! I really don’t like anchovy but somehow it balances the salad. One more thing, I also like the presentation! When I first saw this I was like “ay ang konti naman” but when we were eating, its good for sharing and it is “mabigat sa tyan“.

Classic Burger with Fries – P300

Classic Burger with beer battered onion rings – P300
Of course we ordered burgers! You can choose between fries and beer battered onion rings as your side dish. You can also choose how you want your patty to be cooked. One order is good for sharing. The burger is good, nothing special. It has onions, tomatoes, lettuce, it tastes just like an ordinary grilled burger.
Mango Iced Tea -P150

We ordered overpriced Coke float and Mango Iced Tea.hehe.
New York Style Hotdog with Fries - P275
New York Style Hotdog with Fries – P275
I was able to eat my order right away because I was so hungry but I really didn’t enjoy it much. There was something in there that I didn’t like, I think it was the sauerkraut, it’s too sour for me. Maybe I’m just used in eating regular hotdogs with just a little bit of ketchup, mayo, mustard and cheese! :p Jolly Hotdog please! :p
Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
Creamy Macaroni and Cheese – P375
We also ordered this super cheesy macaroni with bacon on top. The serving did not look that much but it is really more than enough. Be careful though because it’s served in a hot wide plate! :)
Apple Pie - P295
Apple Pie – P295
For dessert we had Apple pie. This was my favorite of all the food we ordered. The crust, the caramelized apple, the vanilla ice cream all together? Perfection! It’s also topped with whipped cream and cherry, our lunch date ended well because of this! For the whole list of Menu, click here.
Food is ok but I think they are quite expensive but the ambiance, service and food presentation make up for it. Overall, I must say it is a good experience. I just can imagine how exciting it would be to go here during NBA championships! I bet it would be more fun to dine here, to watch and to cheer your favorite team together with the other fans!

iLUV-eeeeet!

Here’s my first ever entry in this blog! So I would like to  share my other first time experience.
I know most of you experienced receiving messages from your FB friends asking you to Like their picture, their friend’s picture, their relatives’ picture or someone else’s picture that you don’t even know. It’s irritating right? Especially when this friend of yours only remembers you when he/she needs your Like. But since I’m kind and friendly (hehe), I spend 5 seconds of my time – Liking the page – Liking their entry, and wishing them to win the contest.
Who knows, there might come a time where I’ll be needing their help? And that time came. I am not really into joining contests online. Until I saw Complink’s Take-A-Selfie Contest10453373_719870231389158_2031529890391901738_nMy good friend pushed me to join since we saw that there are only few entries and they will be giving away 3 prizes – means more chances of winning! So I gave in and submitted my selfie, >=D
There are only 12 submitted selfies so I’m confident that I will win (duh?! siguro naman makakasama ko sa top 3 hehe ang yabang? fighting spirit yun! :D). It doesn’t matter what place I get as long as I get something for free, I’ll be happy! They gave us 2 weeks before they announce the 3 most Liked photos so I sent  messages to my relatives and friends pleading them to Like my entry. Fortunately they didn’t just Liked my Selfie but they shared it also to their friends. I also shamelessly post the link of my selfie several times a day in my timeline. Few days before the cut-off, I saw that I was the most Liked photo, I knew the fight was over (haha), so I stopped flooding their newsfeed because I know it may irritate my FB friends. Who would like to see my selfie from time to time right? (ako lang! haha)
In short, I won yeyyyy! Thanks to my supportive friends and brothers who helped me. I’m really thankful to the 368  Likes (i know hindi ganun kadami, but it made me win!) that I got. I just sent messages, shared links regularly then tadddaaaaaa! I got myself an iLuv MobiOut Speaker! It’s a Rechargeable Splash-Resistant Stereo Bluetooth Speaker with Jump-Start Technology. I’ll be doing another post for my review on this product. But now let me enjoy my FREE Speaker that is worth P4,700. I’m just sooo happy! :D Thank you friends, Complink and iLuv! <3

EYEBROW 101

Hi Loves:)  Often times my friends ask me how I do my brows. That is why I made this tutorial. I called it eyebrow 101 because this was especially made for beginners.  :) Before doing these steps make sure to groom your brows. Remove stray hairs around your eyebrows but maintain its natural shape. Today I’m going to use one brow product only, Etude’s Easy Brow Pencil #4. The shade I have is dark grey, I bought this when my hair was still black. :p I promise that this would be easy!

First Step: Outline your Brows. Line your brows with the pencil to achieve your desired shape. For me, I followed the natural shape of my eyebrows.
Second Step: Fill in Your Brows. Starting from the arch of your brows, fill in your brows with the eye pencil except the innermost part of your brows.
Third Step: Brush your brows. Using the the other side of the pencil, brush your brows to spread the product. Now, start filling in the innermost part of your brows with light brush strokes with the residue left on the brush.
Fourth Step:  (optional) Apply browscara. Put on a gel mascara so the hair will stay in place. Here I am using a clear mascara.
Fifth Step: (optional) Clean up. To achieve a more precise eyebrows, clean the edges of your brows with a concealer.

*To achieve a natural look, follow the natural shape and hair growth of your brows.
*Choose a shade that is at least one shade lighter to the color of your hair.
*Don’t put too much product and always use a brush or spoolie to spread the product. Remember it’s easy to add more later on.
*Making your eyebrows can make or break your whole make-up or
your face. :p so be sure to spend time practicing!

Goodluck! :)
