ESME ORGANICS CANDY WAX | MICSREVIEWS

I grew up wishing I have the same skin as my mom’s. She never had pimples, her knees and elbows are so smooth and her legs are hair-free. I know we need hair to protect our skin, but we (girls) would want to wear shorts, skirts and dress while flaunting shiny and hair-free legs. :)
I first shaved my legs when I was in college, my first mistake I guess. I think it made my hair thicker and darker. :( But that was the fastest way I know (that time) to get rid of the hair on my legs. Because of that, I tried to find other ways –  waxing and other hair removal creams.
So when I saw Esme Organics CANDY Wax, nothing new (that’s what I said to myself) I even asked, Ms. Sam (owner of Esme Organics), if it doesn’t really comes with cloth strips and spatula. And the she told me this wax doesn’t need them, HAHAHAHA. That’s when I knew I was wrong, this one’s different from the ones that I tried.

#MicsThoughts:
Because it was my first time to use it, I really don’t know that to do, good thing I watched a demo video on their Instagram account. It was easier to watch than to do it, haha. It melted on my fingers as I molded it but it became more manageable when I transfered on a colder room. :D First, I only got a small amount, I wanted to practice a little more so I won’t end up wasting the product.
I stretched the wax and sticked it on my skin, I was supposed to peel it back but I got nervous that it might hurt haha, what I did was I gently rolled it up against he hair growth – whut? what I mean is, ni-roll ko sya pataas :D Pwede din mas malaki agad ung gamitin para mas maraming hair ang ma-cover at matanggal agad pero mas gusto kong pa unti-untiin. :)

This took me longer, then I tried sticking it on my skin then pulled it in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Does it hurt? A little bit, pero sa bilis naman ng paghila bago ka pa makasigaw tapos na haha! :D but if you want to make it slowly but surely you may opt to do the first technique that I did, but I doubt you want that, slowly rolling it up is equivalent to slowly feeling your hair being plucked, sadista lang ang peg. :P  You may use (the first ball of wax you used) it again and again, but when you see (the wax) plenty of hair already ( OH YES YOU WILL HAHA), it’s time for you to mold a new one to stick on your legs!

It smells like sugar and because it melted on my skin on my first attempt, some product was left on my skin, but no worries because you’ll only need one thing to remove it, water! :) I will suggest you do it while sitting on a chair so that you won’t spread the product to your bedsheets :p I find it a little bit hard to reach the back of my legs but stil I managed to wax them also, I just needed time and concentration haha. :D ako pa ba? :p You can also see redness all over my legs, it is usual thing for me, I always get those when I wax, but it will disappear after few minutes.
This effectively removes unwanted hair, now my legs are hair-free and smooth, maybe because I have used Strawberry Ice Cream Scrub night before which smoothens and moisturizes skin! :) What’s even better is that this Candy Wax can be used on your eyebrows, upper lip, underarms, legs, stomach and bikini line because it is gentle and safe even with those who has sensitive skin. But still like with the other products you should first try it on a small part of your body to make sure that you’re not allergic to it.
I would say that my first try was not easy, I am actually looking forward to do it again haha, kinda challenging! Somehow, I enjoyed doing it :) But I still have to wait because it is said that using organics cold wax weakens the growth of the hair and it makes hair thinner, well, we’ll see about that! :D

I hope you find this helpful! <3
