Before starting this post, I just hope you guys read my review on Sofia’s Glutathione soap, especially those who are looking for an effective whitening soap, you should definitely check that out! Anyway, as I wash my body with the said whitening soap, I use this Skin&Curves’ Premium Kojic Soap on my face. I actually used it together withSkin&Curves’ MOB (Milky Oat Bran Scrub) so I’ll be revieweing the two, however if you watched my May Haul&Favorites, you already know my verdict on these products :p

One Saturday morning I woke up with a zit under my left eye. I was kinda irritated because I only go out on weekdays and my pimple decided to appear on that day, kaloka! then I realized I have this Skin&Curves’ – Premium Kojic which is moisturizing soap & Milky oat Bran which claims to lessen acne inflammation. I decided to give them a try so I used the soap in the morning then used it at night with this MOB. Next day, Sunday I noticed that my pimple became smaller and the inflammation was lessened.
Please excuse my Syringoma, focus on my pimple instead :p
A day after I used Skin&Curves’ Premium Kojic and MOB, it has lessened the redness and inflammation of my pimple.
After 2 days of washing my face with Premium Kojic (plus one night of using MOB as facial scrub) my pimple dried out right away.
I drink milk in the morning and before I sleep, in short I like milk, I remember when I was a child, I imagine myself having a milk bath, I always think that I (my skin) can get a lot of benefits from milk plus it looks so relaxing to be dipping in a tub full of milk, ahhhh! But of course it didn’t happen haha. Anyway, even though I haven’t got the chance to do that, somehow I was able to experience a different kind of milk bath thanks to this Mliky Oat Bran. It’s like a milk powder with grains, it actually smells like the milk candy that I used to eat when I was a child, sadly I can’t remember its name.
I find the scent a little strong for me but that didn’t bother me much because first, it’s trueeee, it dries out pimples FAST, second it makes my skin softer after use, be careful though because it has fine grains. no need to apply pressure when scrubbing, I did apply it roughly at first and my skin turned red after. It’s so mliky and smells yummy kasi that’s why I enjoyed scrubbing it on my skin, didn’t realized I was doing too much already! :P So the next time I used it I gently scrub it on my skin and tte results were better. No more redness and my skin feels moisturized after, no need to apply lotion! It also leaves my skin milky scent (which I like) and before forgot, I also felt stinging pain when I scrubbed it on my pimple (makes me think that’s the reason why my zit dried out fast!).
For the Premium Kojic Soap, it was my first time to see and use a kojic soap which is not orange in color. :p I also like the scent, it’s not the usual citrusy scent, it smells more of a mild women’s perfume. It doens’t give any stinging sensation unlike most of the kojic acid soaps that I have tried. It is also matipid gamitin, as usual, I cut into four, and I’ve been using the first bar for two weeks already and I still malaki pa din siya. My face smells sooooo good and soft every after wash. I think I’ll be using this combination more often because both are effective for drying out pimples fast plus I really like the feeling I get each time I use MOB, it’s like I am literally rubbing powdered Alaska Milk on my skin hehe! I am a little bit sad because I have to stop using this Premium Kojic for now to be able to try other soaps, I have this hiyang feeling kasi right away when I first used it, maybe because it is mild and my skin feels soft after every wash plus it is an effective weapon to use to keep my face pimple-free! thumbs up for these two!
