I do not know what took me so long to do this review since I had it and been using it for few months already. Well, here it is! I can still remember the first makeup that I had, it’s a lip and cheek stain from Bench, I can’t remember its name, it’s in clear tube, the product was color purple and it looks violet-ish (I have my own words sometimes :p) when applied. It was given to me by my Mom when I was in 4th year highschool which I use on Sundays when we go to church. So when a friend suggested HerBench Pretty When Pinched to me few months ago, I didn’t hesitate to try it.
It is in a transparent bottle which actually looks like a pail. This 0.5 fl oz. has two shades to choose from, one is pink (which has pink paper inside) and red (silver paper inside). I can’t find its packaging, natapon ko na yata, it comes in a ziplock bag that also contains the information about the product.

#MicsThoughts:
I chose the darker shade, I somehow got disappointed because the lady there told me that the darker shade was Red. But it’s not. My fault also because I didn’t tried it first when I was there. The shade of this tint is similar to what I had years ago, purple to violet. The difference is their consistency, this one is watery.
Its applicator is the same as the brush of my Sweet Tint from Talitha Organics, the one you see on nailpolishes. What I do is I dab the brush to my fingers, then apply it on my lips while I directly apply it on my cheeks. 2-3 dots is enough for my cheeks, make sure to blend it right after you dab it on your cheeks or it’ll leave a stain that’s not pleasing to the eyes. :p I usually use my fingers when blending it to my cheeks to make sure I blend it well. On times when I use powder it is better to blend the product with stippling brush, I just feel that by using a brush, I will not ruin my base (powder/foundation).
Its scent and taste is no different to other lip and cheeks stains that I tried, like cough syrups hehe! At first I thought it was too violet for me, I was wrong, the shade suits me well. I use it more often on my cheeks than on my lips because I noticed it lasts longer on my cheeks. Even after 4-5 hours, still it looks good on my (cheeks) unlike on my lips. After an hour, I need to apply it again because it has already faded. Maybe because I bite my lips everytime or maybe I just always eat whatever lip product I apply on my lips haha! :p It doesn’t also look good once it has started fading (on lips), my lips tend to look dry. I tried applying lip balm first but it does not help much.
When I use it on my lips, I make sure to put a thin layer only, it looks better actually. This tint somehow reminds me of Ellen Adarna’s go-to look, good thing is this only costs P180 and surely will last long, because a little goes a long way.
