Since I started taking care of my skin, a week can’t go by without my “scrub day”. As much as possible, I would scrub my skin once to twice a week not only for exfoliation but also to stimulate blood circulation. This weekend, let me share you my thoughts on the scrub that I have been using for the past month.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: *Exfoliates skin *Use 1-2x a week
INGREDIENTS: *Crystal Salts and Powdered Milk Protein
HOW TO USE: *Gently apply to wet skin in a circular motion. Leave on your skin for few minutes. Rinse.
#MicsThoughts:
This is MOO Scrub (Milk Salt Scrub) from Talitha Organics and I got it on a plastic packaging since it was just a sample. I transferred it on a plastic container at home. This scrub smells so YUMMMMMMMY, no exaggeration, just telling the truth! My room smelled milk candy and I loveeeet. Well, I drink milk in the morning and at night when I am not too lazy to make one. :p so I personally like milk. I grew up knowing that I need Milk, and Milk is good for me – thanks to my mom. So producst with milk have a special place in my heart! :p I have been using this for almost month. I use it thrice a week even though my “scrub day” is supposedly twice a week only. What can I do? I enjoy using this one. Aside from its yummy scent, the beads of this scrub is perfect for my liking. It has very fine microbeads which help me slough away dead skin cells. It’s not too rough on skin even if I scrub it a little harder. Because it’s mild on skin and does not cause any irritation, I was also able to use it on my face, mas magaan lang syempre yung pag scrub ko this time.
Every after scrub, I feel that my layers of dead skin cells were removed. My legs don’t look flaky and dry. You can skip lotion when you use this one. This one really makes skin soft and smooth. It also leaves a mild milky scent on skin that makes me want to bite my own arms. :p yess I am weird!
Moo Scrub is very moisturizing on skin. I also notice that it helps unclog pores on my legs. Yes, I have little bumps on my legs sometimes, I think they are hair follicles which are clogged by dirt or dead skin cells so they can’t find their way out haha! :p And by using this scrub regularly, it helped me get rid of those impurities (dead skin cells, dirt, oil) that clog pores. I feel clean-er every after scrub, I know you know what I mean. Plus the grains melt as I scrub it and eventually felt like I had moisturizing soap on my skin.
Just make sure to keep it away from your kitchen because it looks, feels and smells powdered milk. I’ll continue to use this not only because it moisturizes and exfoliates my skin well but because it also makes me feel I am actually having a milk bath, o di ba, ang sosyal?!
I hope you find this helpful!
