VELVET LIP CREME | micsemotions

I know I told you guys before that I'll be taking a quick break from posting makeup reviews (to give way for skin care products that I've been using) but I can't wait to share this with you guys especially now that every girl is eyeing on Kylie's Lip Kit!

I am happy to share you my swatches and review of Nature Essentials Velvet Lip Cremes! It comes it three shades - Desire, Flirt and Adore. 

These lip creams come in a glass bottle that looks like a test tube :D with wooden/bamboo cap and has a doe-foot applicator, same packaging with Lip and Cheek Mousse. 

YAY:

*pigmented

*one swipe is more than enough!

*long-wearing

*non-drying

*lightweight

*glides smoothly

*packaging is study (dropped it few times :p)

NAY:

*minimal transfer, (let it dry completely, wait for few minutes!)

if, I MAY suggest:

*i like these bold shades but please release lighter shades, especially nude!

#MiscThoughts:

Desire - a mauvey-brownish shade. The kind of color that I would wear if I am torn between red and brown! :) This red-based brown color gives an edgy and dramatic look in an instant!

Flirt - looks purple on the bottle but when applied it turns to be warm violet. This one smells fruity and it's a creamier and violet-er version of Lip and Cheek Mousse I Think Of You. This definitely brightens face!

Adore - and there you have it, Kylie's True Brown Dupe! It is a perfect chocolate shade and smells chocolate too! Whenever I wear this, I feel like I'm Britney Spears singing hit me Baby one more time! Brings back the 90s!!

Overall, these lip cremes has the creamiest texture! Glides smoothly on lips. You have to wait a few minutes for it to completely dry meaning you have more time to blend it on your lips. When it dries, it does not become flat matte instead it becomes velvety matte which is packed with moisture. They stay on lips for 4-5 hours without eating/drinking. I like how creamy and pigmented these lip cremes are. A 10ml bottle will surely last long as it is matipid gamitin. 

Nature Essentials Velvet Lip Cremes are definitely long lasting. Even after 5 hours, it'll only fade a little so minimal retouch is needed. Even if you have dry lips, you won't be needing lip balm before application, as these are hydrating on lips and does not feel heavy at all even though they are bold colors!
